Hazel Ellis is a PhD candidate in Digital Cultural Heritage. Her research is focused on the presentation and preservation of internet and web-based art in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand during the first decade of the public web. Hazel has an honours degree in Fine Art and a bachelor’s in Art History from the University of Auckland and has worked professionally in social media and digital strategy for the web-based contemporary art gallery platform and magazine, Ocula.
